slideCaddy
- Description
The slideCaddy has been designed for slide guitar players to insert a finger into the slide, withdraw the slide from the caddy, replace the slide into the caddy and return to performing as rapidly, as effortlessly and with as little required thought as possible.
Two part system uses 3M sticky pad to adhere the caddy's mounting clip to the rectangular metal plate on guitars with bolted necks or wherever coveniently chosen; non-destructive mounting for all but lacquered finishes. The slide and the caddy can be left coupled to the mounting clip or slid out of the mounting clip to avoid inteference when returing the instrument to its case.
Designed to fit all round glass or metal slides up to 30mm°, parts coupled together have been intentionally designed "loose" allowing the player to use small strips of masking or electrical tape on the back of the caddy and layered inside the cylinder of the caddy which the slide is inserted into.
This design decision was made to allow one size-fits-all allowing the performer to obtain a snug fit to their preference preventing the slide and the caddy from decoupling when the guitar may be rotated up or down during a performance while simultaneously ensuring the slide can be rapidly removed from the caddy and worn using a single finger to withdraw and use the slide during a performance.
NOTHING is as rapid and as convenient to use during a performance than the slideCaddy.
